Looks a lot better than the last one, but the big rectangle at the top of the seat tube is...strange.

Someone hurry and buy a $5k Sagan frameset so they can sell it for $7k tomorrow!

I'm not that ballin' but I did just drop 36 on the Comp build in the Sagan paint...glad I waited for the '20 to arrive instead of coming -||- this close to buying a '19 comp last week. I said to myself, "Self, be patient...maybe you can lock that thing out on the next version" - sho 'nuff.

UPDATE: (6 minutes later)...aaand now the Comp in Sagan paint sold out. Glad I didn't hesitate.

Is the limited edition number of 200, all sizes combined, or 200 per size?

Seems like some good tweaks, but nothing that would remotely make me regret buying the '19 - especially at $900 cheaper...I prefer the round, frame clamped seat tube to the newer one, which just looks odd to me....just a matter of personal taste. The newer post is supposed to "balance" the FutureShock better, but who knows. The adjustable dampening on FutureShock 2.0 is a good idea.....

I think it's 200 total - I might be totally wrong, but otherwise they sold out over 600 bikes in a couple hours in just one build and color. Who knows though, maybe I'm naiive: this is an industry with money in a good economy... You are correct - I snagged one of the other last remaining 61's.

I agree with everything you said. I was going to take advantage of the discounts on the '19 Roubaix Expert, which would have brought either mech DA or Di2 within $200 of the 2020 Comp, but ultimately it was the lockout functionality on the shock paint job on the Sagan that swung me.

I like the clean look. Mine is a 2017 Roubaix Sport SL4 and the 2020 minus the Zertz inserts is prettier.

A half-decade ago, I'd tell you I'd never in my life be seen on a fugly Roubaix. Now one's in transit to Reno. Obviously aesthetics are highly subjective, but for the first time in the history of the model I disagree that this is a bland looking bike.

I had an SL4. While I too thought it was fugly, it was a wonderful bike to ride. I thought I would never buy another brand new bike, but this one has me second guessing that notion. From what I've seen so far, I like it. The current one is not even on my "bikes I like" list.

My only gripe - petty as it is - is I hate and I mean HATE the decals on the DT Swiss wheels...they literally look like packaging/wrap stickers that are meant to be removed upon opening. They couldn't have a more uninspired decal job IMO. Like I said, petty I know. But that rainbow paint is on point...

Yeah, I agree with you on the wheels. I'll probably replace those before long. Right after I replace the stem and saddle.

I'm generally not one for a glitzy, glittery type paint on a bike, but this one is calling my name. I like they're individually numbered to 200 also. Wish it had the 2.0 FS and Di2, but we'd be looking at another 2k probably. All things considered, and for the price, I just had to have one.

I had a chance to play with one at Sea Otter today. The $6k "Expert", I think.

The adjustable FutureShock 2.0 is nice enough. Full slack felt like my current 2018 Roubaix. Full tight was a lockout.
The seatpost is nice enough. Better than the 2018 elastomer post. I replaced the elastomer post on my 2018 with an Ergon CF3. The 2020 seat post is not as nice as the Ergon, but I'm sure some would feel otherwise.
The wheels and tires are an upgrade. However, I normally replace my wheels, etc. so...
The bike felt nicely light to me. Mine are burdened with tool kits, bottles, etc. and it is always a nice surprise to handle an unencumbered example.

I'd be happy to buy a new one, but I already have two and I don't think that the changes are significant enough to warrant a replacement. The Specialized website shows that the larger frame sizes are completely sold out. Probably for the best, removes any temptation.

Both the 2.0 and 1.5 replace the 2018.

I'm just curious if the 2020 Roubaix's that come with the standard 1.5 an be replaced with the 2.0 as an option?

They changed to threaded in 2017. My 2017 Roubaix has threaded.

I'd never buy a bike with Pressfit again. Simply sucks.

Bought 2020 Pro with SRAM AXS Force in early May (46-33 / 10-33) I have about 1100 miles on it since. Several things. First, I have had both overshift and undershift issues. Bike has been back to dealer 4 times. Last time they installed a shim that SRAM said should help with Overshift. (SRAM won’t “talk” direct with users, only bike shops, so I had to masquerade as the bike shop to get them to tell me about the shim and have it shipped to the shop, who installed it). It goes between the front derailleur and the seat tube. This really helped with OS, none since then. Now I struggle with undershifts. I get one or two on a given ride then none for 2 or 3 rides. I check and adjust the front derailleur per the SRAM documentation and it gets better, then undershifs again. I have the AXS setup to compensating 1 gear. (Bike shop is 60 miles away so constant trips back are not a good option.) All firmware up to date. 98% of the time it works great, shifts are crisp, it is quiet, love the gear range. Due to the OS and US the chain scratched up the crank and the chain stay. Very frustrated with being unable to dialog with SRAM or Specialized. (Had to have the shock replaced when the top cap came off also which was an acknowledged issue.) Wrote a critical review on Specialized website which they refused to publish. SRAM has nowhere to comment or post. I really enjoy the bike but I think it should work better than what I have experienced. And I think SRAM / Specialized should be more interested in customer feedback than what I have experienced as well. My Bianchi Infinito EPS was rock solid on shifts once adjusted. I expected more from SRAM and Specialized. Thoughts?
