Old 27s and hub
I upgraded an old trek 510. I replaced the old 27s with 700s and changed the 6 speed hub with an 8 cassette. Are these wheels/hub worth anything? or worth keeping? I can't really put them back on the bike one day unless I want to bend the rear triangle again, which I don't intend to do.
Wheels: Matrix strada 27 x 13_mm
Hub: 6 speed Shimano 600
Downtube shifters: Shimano 600
Both are in pretty decent shape
i still can’t post pictures

1) 600 parts are always popular - provided - they are in useable or better condition. You say "Both are in pretty decent shape". if so they would certainly sell, especially the shifters which are easy to pack and can be mailed cheaply
2) As for the rear wheel I think you could simply replace the current axle with a longer one and add spacers. That way it would fit your current triangle width and you could keep the wheel for resale, if you wished then you could simply replace the new wheel set with the old wheel set and take the newer set for your next ride. Perhaps someone else might know better....

Depends on era. Old Uniglide not very desirable. Freewheel or later Hyperglide, OK. DT shifters have value, depending on condition.
Worth keeping? Unless you are in love with 600 stuff, I'd convert them to cash. Depending on your local market, should be able to sell a nicer set of 27 inch wheels. Check the cones for wear first.

I think they do have value, possibly $50-70 if in good shape, true, etc.
I'm mostly familiar with Matrix Titan rims, which have all been decent, and you can't really go wrong with Shimano hubs.
I don't think it's too much of a stretch using the wheels again, depending on how the frame was set.
Maybe post a pic to imgur and share the link here.

Repack the bearings, polish everything up, mount new tires. Then, go find a good used frame w/fork & bottom bracket. Mount wheels on used frame. Presto. You're on your way to building another bike from scratch. If you have enough spare parts lying around you might be able to complete it. Sell it. Lose money. Start over. Have fun. Be good.
