Enjoy the hell out of that Team Machine. I'm loving mine. I need to get my hands on those BMC waterbottles too.

justind01, what size is yours? Looks like they couldn't make it any smaller without using different head tube lugs.

These bikes are pure sex...love it.

I figure that they use the same lugs for all the SLT01's, then use different lengths of main tubes to build the different sizes. That's just conjecture, though -- different angles would need different lugs.

Not yet; it was listed as backordered on the order confirmation email. That date has come and passed, though, but I'll give them a couple more days before I ask about its status. I'm pretty patient anyway.

Just a crappy cell phone pic from this past weekend. This is a local stoping station. It has been in the "restoration" process for about 5 years or so. Cool little train station building though.

My SLT 01 is here...
I like the little touches like the BMC in the seat collar bracket.
This is how the CC deal came packaged for those who are curious
With my single Cheapy bontrager waterbottle holder 105 pedals and the very scientific weight with bike and without bike on a scale method It seems that my old Fuji aluminum was about 19.8 (with the Soul S4.0s) and this is about 17.8 (with the EA50 SLs) which I think are about the same weight (approximately 1750-1800 grams?) I am a flatlander so the weight isn't all the much of a difference, but it certainly feels much more "firm" i guess is the word (i suppose this is what the experts call Stiffness) I am at 200lbs but a relative noob so I don't notice things are not stiff till I have something that is (swapping from stock Alex wheels to the Souls was a wake up).
I like the Force group, esp the shifting. The front shifts work well, better than my 105 setup with FSA compact cranks but not was smooth as R700 compact cranks I swapped to on the old bike. I love the rear shifting. The hoods are a little unnerving at first since they are just little nubs, but I am getting used to them quickly. Almost the biggest difference is the bars These EA70s are short and shallow whereas my old ones were the opposite.
Old bike for comparision.

55cm...which is a 56cm tope tube which is very similar to my 58 cm fuji...so let that be your guide . I am 6'0" a 53 could have worked, but I perfer this size. I may get a longer stem though, but that is due to shorter handlebars.

best price on SLC01
Anyone know the best price going on the 09 SLC01, (love the white one). Surely someone has them marked down somewhat but I cant find much through Google. Any help would be appreciated. I love my 09 Orca but I have the bike-lust for this frame!

those with roadracers, does your streampost creak? mine is annoying the hell out of me on every ride with this "cracking" sound every 20 seconds. i've tried adjusting the tension on it but it still does it.

^^^ the streampost on my racemaster has started doing the same thing. Seems to be getting worse. Anyone know if there's something to grease that will help this go away?

to all with a streampost creek. I talked to fabio from bmc north america because i had some free time because im sick as a dog. He sent me two solutions. .
1. you can use the tape that protects the chainstay from chainslap to prevent the back of the streampost to come into direct contact with the frame. Or you can use a "silicone paint". I was thinking about taking a old mtb tube, and cut it just so you can see it from the outside going all the way down to the wedge. Once i stop blowing chunks ill give it a try.
