Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good physical stores for cycling clothing (Atlanta)?

Hello all,

Most of the local bike shops in my area (midtown Atlanta) don't carry a lot of cycling clothing. So I was wondering, which stores have a good selection of bicycle clothing? I hate to buy this online, because you really need to try it on. I was thinking of checking out:

- Performance bicycle
- REI (not sure if they are worth visiting for cycling stuff?)

Anybody know of other stores with good selection in the Atlanta area, or good big chain stores?

Thanks!

Unfortunately most of the bike stores I've been to in the metro area don't carry much. Performance is probably your best option. They have a good selection, stuff is always on sale, and the return policy is extremely generous.

Thanks very much for your answer. That is the kind of info I was after. I've never been to their shop, but they are supposed to be one of the biggest, so was hoping they carry a good selection.

Thanks!
