Odd tire sizes

Just thought this was an interesting idea for a thread.

Here I am in Boulder City NV and I see a vintage cruiser this bike has 36" tire bias ply x 2 1/4".

That'll make it BIGGER than decimal 36? Like on DirtySixer (dirtysixer .com)
