I mean, I did, but not two years, and I couldn't give you a start date, stop date, or total duration between them. I just know it's been a long time, and lasted a long time before that.
I had avoided mentioning that in my previous post to avoid diverting the discussion, but here we are.
So uh, Super Bowl in under a week!

"The policy requirement not met is that the requested dose of 5mg/kg given at week 6 and then every 8 weeks thereafter exceeds the plan's maximum dose of 3mg/kg given at week 6 and then every 8 weeks thereafter for your indication. Therefore, the requested medication does not meet the medical necessity criteria."
One of the selling points the witch doctor gave for switching to mouse drug was that he could adjust the dosage (+), if needed.

On a related note, I am doing some hand wringing over buying travel insurance or not. To cover my 10 days on the road, light touring. I'm leaning in the direction of thinking my Medicare A would cover everything except an ambulance ride. In reading reviews of travel insurance customers, it's not a promising scenario. Submitting a claim, that is.

I don't know how it works. Going to have to see if there's a way to reclassify as a medical necessity.

Not just bike racing, but not all activities. In my experience, there are sports the happy people go for, including soccer and lacrosse. Endurance sport is a whole different thing.
Now the exception is cheerleading. That Cheer documentary on Netflix I mentioned the other day? Around episode 4 it gets super-raw, with one of the girls talking about running away from home and getting into fights bad enough to send the other girls to the hospital, one of the boys talking about self-cutting, and it gets deeper from there. For reals, it's a good watch.
I did that for two years in college, which no one here knew before but hiding that side of myself seems funny now. I think that sport, of all team sports, attracts the damaged because of hiding behind the veneer of, well, cheeriness.

Big boat sailing is a team sport full of hale and hearty jocks and preppies for, whom drinking is a way of life, and quite a few real alcoholics. Every race or regatta of even medium size is sponsored by a rum distiller (I probably have 48 Mt. Gay and Goslings hats with race names on them). The drinking starts on the sail back from the course each day, if not before, and continues at the nightly tent party. I don't like it and it's one reason I've stopped doing multi-day regattas in favor of ocean races—no drinking until you get there.

I think the difference between running (and these others) is that there are almost zero mentally-healthy runners; if you're happy you're simply not going to go do that when you could go play a game with your friends. There are certainly mentally-healthy beanbag-slanted-board players.

I can well imagine. It's next door to dance, which is full of crazy people.

So, I had to have a dye test for pictures of my retinas and the nurse told me that the injection would turn my pee fluorescent yellow and not to be alarmed. After the test, I stopped off at the rest room and they had one of these ADA low urinals which I can’t seem to get close enough to. After completing my task, the urinal, surrounding walls and floor looked like a scene out of CSI where they spray Luminal around and then hit the black lights.

Case in point. I get an email from Amazon, telling me I get 90 days free Amazon music for my qualifying purchase. So, like a fool, I click the button which takes me to a page requiring a credit card, first, in order to sign up for my 30 day free trial. **** that ****.
