YAMB (Yet Another Midrange Bianchi) -- late 1981 production, presumably a 1982 model, Tre Tubi frame

purists won't like my Shimano aero brake levers, but they fit my hands very well and boost my stopping leverage a bit

(The custom-configured 14-16-18-20-23-26 SunTour freewheel and Serfas saddle are also cringe-worthy among the Italian purists.)

"Charcoal" color (my artist wife calls it "Ralph Lauren brown") is unusual in an Italian-made Bianchi.

I am loving the letter threads. I don't have anything to contribute for letter C, but I have a good one waiting for D.

How's it possible there's no Behringer in here?

I really need to break this one down and give it the attention it deserves. More pics here

My B bike

Here's my Bridgestone one touch Picnica.
I was attracted to this bike based on optics. Its also fun to ride around the block and as a conversation piece.

Here's my 1990 Basso Ascot built from Columbus MS tubing. Almost every tube has a different profile/shape. So smooth, Just a little on the heavy side by modern standards.

And last but not least my college buddy gave this to me a couple of months ago while I was visiting. I have a DA 7spd group starting to be hung on it. It's just a Cromor frame but everyone says its so close to SL tubing nobody can tell the difference and the weigh difference is hardly noticeable. We'll see.... Pretty nice details for a Cromor frame.

Is a Bob Jackson a "B" bike or a "J" bike? This one had no identification and this lousy yellow repaint but several people in Raleigh knew the bike and vouched for it. I rode it for a while but it really deserved a taller rider and I found one for it.

For names, (Eddy Merckx, Claud Butler, etc.) I'm happy to let the owners decide.

Been going through some old boxes of photos, @thumpism ?
