^^^^^^^^
JJ1452,
I wish you were delusional about being able to ride 52-54 frames! I'll call first dibs on the 53 Colnago when you put it up!
BTW, I'll have no problem slamming the seat down on the 55 Cinelli too!
Best, Ben

Here's one of my favorites.
And keep in mind many of the greats rode pink bikes, Pantani, Battaglin, Hampsten, Froome and many others.

"The Eternal Second" because he never won the Tour de France despite finishing in second place three times, and in third place five times (including his final Tour at the age of 40)!

Yes indeed, Tx Chas.
Pou, Pou, easily one of the classiest in all of cycling and rode pink when far fewer had or did.

Don't forget the immortal "Pou-Pou" Raymond Poulidor who passed away 11 months ago at age 83... RIP

(Personally, I always thought those Merciers looked great in that livery, but not everyone did.)

I would also encourage you to keep in mind that anyone who looked down on a pink bike only to get there azz whipped at some point by it would be receiving a good dose of humility for their error.
Pretty sure Pantani wasn't taken lightly on his.
I can't even begin to count the number of opponents that made that kind of mistake when they looked at my old, tired looking KZ 1000's right before I turned on the win light at the dragstrip.
I love it when they have themselves at a psychological disadvantage of their own design.
