Bill Holland Road Bike - $800

https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bik/1611498811.html

Bill Holland road bike. Made in San Diego. Beautiful. one of the best frame builders in the world. 59cm seat tube 57cm top tube. Full Dura Ace 7400 group. Only mentionable flaw is the paint chip on the top tube.

HIS OTHER DISCRIPTION:
59cm Bill Holland Custom Classic. Beautiful bike. Complete shimano Dura Ace 7400 groupset. 14 speeds. BEAUTIFUL and RARE. $800

I've seen his bikes, and I know at least one BF member who's riding around on a Trek 560 he bought from this seller. Varying quality, as the seller gets all his bikes from auctions of seized storage lockers and police auctions.

Vintage Raleigh Team - $100 (greenbrae)

This bicycle actually rode in the Tour de France and was one of the Raleigh "team" bikes. You can own a piece of bike racing history!! Who know what butt has touched this seat? All Campy parts. Somr frame pithing, but the components alone are worth twice what I'm asking.

Someone suck this up quick

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/1612967111.html

Up for sale is a very nice Miyata 310 frameset Blue and white looking at the colors i'd say mid to late 80's think miami vice

i'd say the size is about a 57 cm or +

Miyatas are great bikes, a under valued brand if you ask me. i'd keep it but it is too big.
perfect for a fixie or single speed conversion or repaint it and have a smooth retro roadie

made in japan

The paint is kinda beat looks like someone got too happy with a brillo pad. so the paint has a matte finish versus the nice thick glossy paint Miyatas are known for. and the bottom bracket needs a rebuild and there is NO headset top cup, the races are there but the lock nut and cup is missing. thats how i got it

build it into a beater or whatever you want

bikeparty is comming up so build your bike !

$40 FIRM

no lowballers or any of that mess
CASH ONLY pick up in campbell 95008 ONLY

if the ad is up the frame is still here so no need to email asking if it is still for sale.

i'd trade a Miyata frame that is smaller. Miyata or japanese marque from that era. 54-56cm

I just saw that and was thinking about alerting a friend who could use a bike like that. pretty much a classic, useless CL photo there, but seems like it'd be hard to go wrong with a full set of old Deore if it's in good shape.

Colnago $500

https://desmoines.craigslist.org/bik/1612671677.html

Vintage Colnago Super, hand made in Italy by Ernesto Colnago, purchased in late 1970's from Bill's Cyclery in Des Moines. I bought the frame and had it built out in full Campagnolo components, fully customized, 12 speed, including tubular tires. Has not been ridden for 10-15 years, except for maybe once a summer. Being sold as is, obviously needs a tune up, but everything is original and in good shape. I believe the frame is 57-58 cm. This collectors racing bicycle is painted in the classic Colnago orange, and includes the "club" cut out below the bottom bracket. $500, available now.

Portland, Orygun Schwinn barn find

I dunno, looks pretty nice:

1961 Mens Schwinn Traveler 3 Speed/All Orig./Needs Some TLC - $100 (Tigard)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is a 1961 schwinn traveler 3 speed that has been sitting in a barn for quite some time and needs some tlc, the bike looks to be all original with all parts, the 26 inch tires need replacing, the seat is original and has a loose spring, the frame, paint and decals are still pretty nice, the frame size is 56cm or 22 inches between the top of the seat post and the center of the crank, the decals on the seat tube say arnold schwinn co. the bike has some minor rust that can be easily cleaned, asking price is $ 100.00, if interested call 503-730-3607 or email me at hrmk74@comcast.net

Classic Eddy Merckx Road Bike! Very Rare! - $1400 (Bedford)

Date: 2010-02-22, 4:07PM EST
Reply to: sale-mtudk-1612945433@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Quality Eddy Merckx bike all original except the seat! Handmade in Belgium. It has quality vintage Campy Record components throughout. A very detailed bike. I hate to get rid of the bike but want to pass it on to someone who can fully appreciate its worth. I also have two additional Aimerica by Regina freewheels to go with it (13-18, 13-21). Mavic wheel set with blade spokes. This bike was setup for racing in the late 80s and early 90s. It was the top of the line bike at the time. If you know bikes, you will know this is an unbelievable and rare bike. Serious inquires only. I can provide more specs if you are serious.
Stand over height is about 33". Center of crank to the to the top of the seat tube = 57cm. Center of seat post to center of steering tube =55cm.
Am a little flexible on price, But I know what this level of bike is worth to the right person. Looking for a late model road bike. Would be willing to trade.

Reply to: sale-zcga2-1612757258@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Schwinn Super Sport. Made in Japan in March ‘81.

21" seat tube. (be under 5'9")

Champion #2 butted cr-moly steel tubing, nice lug work.

This was the second-best model put out by Schwinn that year, behind the Superior, and retailed for $600 back then. Designed as a touring bike, 15 speeds, rare SR Apex crankset. horiztonal drops.

Fully tuned by a professional mechanic: Bottom bracket, headset, and hubs have been overhauled with fresh grease and new bearings. New cables, newish tires, new front brake caliper. ready to ride.

He sent me better pictures. The bike is well used but in good condition. We are meeting tonight halfway between Bettendorf and DesMoines. If the condition matches the pictures, it's not a super bargain, but a fair price.

What in the world is this? Never heard of anything like it.

https://cgi.ebay.com/Bicycle-Road-Tou...item414d19acb2

(Vintage Bio-Cam 1000 Road/Touring Bicycle/Bike =50 Speed, Year 1980)

This Bike was MFG by The FACET CYCLE. CO in Tulsa Okla! It is #30 of 100 made! This Bike is in nearly new condition! I do believe that it has never been rode! I bought it out of an Estate and i have no idea if anybody has rode it or not! The back tube has a sleeve missing on the air inlet and i cannot air the tire up! You may need to buy a new tube! When i bought it,It was advertised as a $2.000.00 Bike and after paying a HANDSOME price for it i was glad to learn that it did cost between $1.500.00 and $1.900.00 new. The bike is an all steel bike but it only weighs 36.4 # It has nylon tires, handle bars from France and Brake Controls by Shimano 600. It has a Facet Shifter and it has 50+ speeds. I cannot find out much about it! I did learn that after they were made they won lots of race

Tempting as a part-it-out for the XC-2 pedals alone...

1984 Miyata ridge line mountain bike - $150 (Fox Point)

"1984 This was the Cro-Magnon era of mountain bikes and the Miyata was a prime example. No suspension, SunTour Mountech derailleurs, 6 speed freewheel, friction shifting, bull moose handlebars, round bear trap pedals and bolt on hubs. This boike is in fair condition but could use some tlc. It is 100% original with the addition of fenders. Show off your old school cool to all of your friends at the next wors race! 18" frame. "
