Wahoo Customer Service Was Great

A week ago my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt popped out of its mount when I hit a bump, and the screen got damaged. The unit would still power on/off, but I couldn't navigate through it. I contacted Wahoo and asked if they could fix it (they couldn't). However, despite being out of warranty, they gave me 40% off a V2 Elemnt Bolt, which I thought was more than fair.

No, they are still making money at 40% off.

Many people buy them from second sources (not directly from Wahoo). So, no (generally). They are still likely making more than their cost (which is reasonable).

Probably but probably not much. In any case, they shouldn't be offering it at a loss.

Its good to hear these stories. Their app was crashing bad for me yesterday. Had to delete the app, add it back, and reset the Element Roam before I finally got things paired and working again.
