Sixteen weeks post-op now. My orthopedic surgeon says I should make a full recovery sometime in the spring. I was discharged from PT in early January, but continue theraband strengthening exercises. He suggested I incorporate the left arm into the routine.

I’ve resumed normal cycling (and other) activities.

Thanks for tuning in. Carry on.

Nice.

I had rotator cuff surgery at the end of July and was asked to stay off the bike until spring. I got back on the week before last though (would have started at new years but we got 18" of rain in January and I couldn't make any day seem like a good day to start...). My knees are currently not loving it. Actually I don't feel them on the bike at all, it's only off the bike. Probably just need to ride more. Have been focusing on spinning low gears were possible, so hopefully the knees will limber up during the course of that...

Seems we have a lot in common: my knees don’t bother me when I’m riding, but I can’t run anymore. Hope you’re soon riding as much as you want.

Yeah it is a bummer, I need to get my legs working by summer. Spring ideally. More for backpacking than running. Hope you are getting all the riding you want as well!
