Strava extension app - My workout companion

Hello everyone.

This might interest all of you who are using Strava for tracking your rides. I have developed an extension app for Strava which offers additional analytics, visualizations and summarizations of your workouts. I built it to satisfy my own needs, but while working on it, I decided to make it public, where also other people could enjoy it.

Basically it is third party analytics tool which upgrades functionality of Strava. Main features:
  • With it you can filter and sort your workouts with more paramenters than in offical Strava app (by date, type of exercise, distance, title, average heart rate and average speed)
  • You can create yearly and mountly graphical reports and sumarizations of your workouts
  • You can easly find your stand out activites(lognest, fastest, those with most elevation gain) and you are able to flag activites as your favorites workouts
  • You can generate photos with watermarked activity data

Feel free to try it, it is available as standalone app, for Chrome and Edge users there is browser plugin which integrates additional functionality directly to Strava webpage.

I hope you found this app useful. Any feedback would be appreciated. More information about this can be found on the webpage myworkoutcompanion.net .

Yes, I am new to the forum and this was my first post. I would like to promote this app that I made and I believe here are people that might find it useful .

Having the option to chose Imperial units would be nice.

Ahhh yeah, as much as I believe metric is a superior system of measurement, my brain is wired into distance in miles, elevation in feet, speed in MPH and an antiquated system of numerical measurement shared only by Liberia and Myanmar.

I'll check in on it when there is measurement my simpleton brain can understand. Looks like a good start, though.

Hello. App is now upgraded and support for Imperial units is avaliable. I added new tab Settings where you can change this options. If you select Imperial units distance is in miles, elevation in feet, speed in MPH.

Hope everythin works as expected.

Hi, I've just rolled out a Activity Calendar feature. Your activites are now displayed on calendar, each sport has its own cool color, making easier to recognize differt activty types. You can set first day of week to Sunday or Monday. You are welcome to try it,

matejl Thanks for this. I have added it and synched my Strava account.

The interface looks VERY clean. I will spend time reviewing soon. Good stuff!

I appreciate your offering and posting.
