Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Recommend a 26.0 x 44cm bar

I'm currently running a Nitto M196 42cm (80/131) on my commuter. Levers are Tektro R200A, and shifters are Shimano bar-cons. I'd like to switch to something wider, say, 44cm c/c. Prefer something with a relatively flat ramp, as I'm either on the ramps or on the hoods the majority of the time. Alloy only.

Thanks in advance.

I'm interested in this too. Something that'll fit in a quill stem is a plus!

Check out jensen USA. I was just there looking for bars for my bike.

I think EA50s and EA30s are available in 26.0 among others.

I have several Nittos, tehy come both T6, 25.4 & 26

For my 'retro look' trainingbike I use an Oval Italian bend 26...I have both the discontinued (?) 701 & 710

If black's an option, it's a light and nice set of handlebars. Cheap too

I picked up a pair of Ritchey 'bars on eBay pretty cheaply. One of the iBOB list members recommended them, and the profile/dimensions looked good. Would have preferred silver, but my Rickshaw handlebar bag's straps will pretty much cover the exposed portion near the stem.
