2. Light weight and big motor = bad day for everyone else.
That's all you need to know. Riding up to professionals in a granny gear that had a five minute head start...priceless.

You got that right. I figured that one out 15+ years ago. Can you get better by training? Yes. Will that take you from Cat 4 to Cat 1/2 if you're as talentless @ bicycle racing as a guy like me? No.
But WTF rw, if only the talented people (like yourself) did this sport, the high end bike business would fold like a cheap umbrella.
I'm in it for the SCHWAG.

Scary part for those racing against Stevens: She's still learning.

And yes, Evelyn is a monster talent. It will be interesting to see where she goes with that. Very nice young woman by the way.

Has coddling tendencies.
Shimano is bulky and boring. There's still time to change your mind about Red. Campy if you want pizazz. Don't be so predictable.

A few months ago I met Floyd Landis on a local climb, the day before he announced his retirement. What I'm saying is that I'm influential when it comes to cycling. It's time to take the leap.

So my Top Secret BF Doctor pals are telling me 'get a compression sock on that effected leg'. I finally go to the med supply store yesterday and get fitted for one. I wear this for five hours. I take it off when I go to bed. Amazing. Dramatic response. My effected leg looks 95% normal. Even better this AM. I can wear it when I ride too. Hell, if it does that in a few hours, this therapy may help dissipate the remaining clot in that leg and get back to normal in a week or two. That's great.
Just imagine how scary His Holiness might be on a Di2 Cervelo or a Red Addict as a skinny, pulmonary embolism and blood clot free picture of 53.5 year old health and virility. You shall all rue the day I got that surgical sock, and I daresay some of you will even covet this hosiery.

The sort of compression socks/stockings for this have quite particular specifications. The amount of compression differs depending on the position on the leg. The specialist in Machka's case gave three very specific numbers that the compression stockings had to match.

Sven is back! How you been our Norwegian WW hater? BTW contrary to the quote in your sig, I won the State Championship race a few weeks ago on my WW build Cervelo on an uphill sprint. I also did it with my Lightning crank, that according to you is junk.
Back to PCAD. After seeing what you paid for Di2, you better never buy Red. You will soon realize if you do that Di2, was the biggest waste of money you've ever spent. If you spent that 2k properly you could of dropped 2lbs off of your bike instead of adding weight, and electronic idiocy.

My race bike is ~6.3 kg (13.9lbs), and I think thats fair with deep section wheels and earo fork?
Grats on the state championship man! That's good!!
As for Di2..Nah......Don't see that coming on my bikes...
And me?...I've been quite busy, but still tall, dark, good looking and introvert

How do you like them? I've contemplated trying some, but the weight, and price always turned me off. Plus I've heard they don't shift real well. I've made the switch to compact on all my bikes. I didn't think I would like it, but I do. Rarely do I feel like I need the 53-11 back.

Trade of:
no mentionable weight penalty
price
shifting (not a big probl., but decreased) The extra height can make conflict with some brace ons and bottle cages
Your legs velocity increases at the deadzones and might actually give you zero positive 'work' if you can't keep up with the speed
The idea is good, but the effect is far less than one should think.
My positive effect is being able to lower my saddle a tad, making more power on the actual downstroke
If you look at the proble from a different side...The BioPace is a good idea too..Just not the flavor of the month.....
