Some Jamaica Bikes...
Been back in Canada for a couple of weeks, now and thought that you guys and gals might like to see some real working bicycles. The best ones got away, as I was not camera ready but these just might amuse y'all...

The blades on that Akisu replacement fork look like they are well on their way to full Dali "softness" - lettuce espere for the rider's sake it doth not "all happen at once"
Frame the recipient of home repair at the junction of top tube and seat tube.
Hast thee sent the Pietra leve on their way to Freqman?

I imagine that your skin-side tires are a rare sight in Jamaica.
Those Chinese Honda-clones are used all over the world, often taking entire families (on the one bike) or livestock, etc. to market daily.

That top bar addition should be a steel aftermarket product. Lol. Lots of girl bikes out there would sell and the first one looks decent like those old double top tube cruisers.

The liners revealed their failure last year, a week before heading back to the cottage. With that in mind, I brought two sets of rim liners with me this year.
Once my gum walls had died, I looked and looked, finally finding a set of tires. For $28.00 US, I managed to find a set of these, in Black River. They are darn near bullet proof and a treat. 700c x 38 barely fit, but they did...
Of course, I broke a spoke, six weeks before heading back to Canada. A tweak here and a snub there, made the rear wheel just fine for the balance of my riding pleasure. But there was not too much that I could do when I blew a shoe, both shoes actually...
