That was one of them, but this is the specific one that stuck in my mind:
Obviously, the mountain bike can go further up difficult climbs, and can go faster on rough descents.
But my takeaway was:
1) mountain bikes are kinda boring on a MUP, or anything that doesn't have a technical challenge.
2) Gravel bike can fly on a smooth route, is fun and engaging on more technical stuff, and just fun and engaging no matter what you do with them.
So, I bought some mountain bike tires and take my gravel bike on mountain bike trails that don't need suspension, and I no longer drive my car to the trails. ;-)
