'79 uo10
Not sure about saddle but other parts are original or per spec. No tape. Pretty good condition. Any market for this Pug, and what fair value? Measures 23" to top of seat tube/lug.

With the bars taped, and everything working properly, that would sell for $200-$250 in my area.

You don't see this as often as the UO 8 but it is a nicer bike. Unlike the UO 8, this has alloy wheels, a cotterless crankset, and non plastic derailleurs. Unlike the UO 9, this has alloy wheels. The PNW is a hot market so around $200-$250 fixed up is likely about right. I'd price it at $150-$200 where I live but that's in a smaller city in the midwest.
Personally I'd keep the mafac brakes and levers and replace them with dia compe/weinmann center pulls and levers.
By the way, that alloy simplex derailleur set may have a value if (and that's a big if) that RD will work on a stronglight drop out (the non-threaded ones without a stop). I believe some simplex RDs on a claw work on those kinds of drop outs and some do not but I'm not an expert on this. There are some threads on this issue.
I did my first tour on one of these. If I ever found another, I'd turn it into my daily commuter. It's a nice bike. If you lived closer, I'd offer to swap you for this bike as this is my size.

Betcha the saddle has Peugeot on the back. Not positive but pretty sure the butt perch is original...

Thanks all for your inputs. I have two uo10s- same year and size. The other one is very rough and may become a gravel bike. The duplication has caused me to consider if I really need a garage full of bikes.
The saddle on my bike lacks the tail marking and nose emboss on randyjawa's example. The plastic base is marked Viscount. The shape is similar tho.

A UO 10 would make a nice gravel mutt. It can take big tires and a stronglight 99 will let you run a compact up crank.

I had a UO-10 that I fixed up and sold for about $200 but that was a good 5 years ago, still they clean up nice and have decent components and no cheap Derlin plastic. Kind wish I had hung onto mine, nice find. As others have said a step or 3 up from the ubiquitous UO-8
