Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Oh yeah, super important. Makes sure to line up all the OURY logos in the same direction facing the drive side, and pick a matching color or it will look really silly.
Give this man a medal!

Just copied the idea, although with one grip only, and of course the cheap eBay knockoff's as I'm a cheapskate. Works wonderfully!

I didn't catch that but I did it with one grip and no glue. The rubber compound and shape of the grip makes it stick to the frame. Easy to take off when not in use. Money spend: Less than 2 USD.

Even the lining up the logo part??? You seemed sincere about that, right?

Well I bet it will actually do a great job since it's thick and has almost the perfect shock absorption dwell time. And it's way to carry the bike without getting sweaty hand prints on the paint too.

That was actually intended to be the over-the-top indicator that it was all malarkey. Looks like I failed.

But admittedly, If I were going to rig something like that I would line up all the labels. And I'd use a plumb line to make sure they were perfect.

I'd never use OURY grips though. Their tread pattern is far too pronounced and the edges too sharp. This would violently disrupt airflow patterns and reduce my speed.

Sorry, I was just yanking your chain. That did make it obvious!
