@MZilliox, do I see a Fabric saddle on that bike?
HED Ardenness wheels too... I'd sure like a closeup of that machine.
By the way, you can totally bunny hop that small stick across the trail. No problem.

And yes, ardennes plus wheels. I have a beefier set for more dedicated gravel and rough stuff, but my every day set is this one, as i ride around 60% road and 40% gravel, maybe flopped at times. so this set has 32mm compass tires. other set has 35mm clement xlplorers with treads.
Full build is Campagnolo 10s with 50-34 compact crank and 12-30 with mid cage rear. TRP mid reach brakes, 110 generic stem, ritchey neoclassic bars, record seat post, thats about it.

Burgundy is a super nice color. Very classy. 10/10. Would ride.
Gorgeous scenery and photography too. I hope you continue to post.
I'm running a Scoop Flat on my road bike and a Scoop Radius on my gravel bike, both carbon. Oddly, the Radius feels best when the nose is pointed up slightly, similar to the way some point up the nose of a Brooks. Others Radius owners have said the same thing and I see them pointed up in photos.

My gravel grinder/CX rig, Party Monster. I apologize for the sideways pics, but I have no idea how to fix them (suggestions welcome). Last photo is from the Mormon Pioneer Trail in N Utah, the bottom half of which is eminently CX-/gravel-able.

I tried a 650B conversion on my LeMans RS, but something about the ride didn't feel quite right to me -- too much rebound in the frame I think. It looked nice though.

Thanks. It took me a while to find the post you were referring to. I think you were asking about the bags in this photo. The top tube bag is a Revelate GasTank. The under saddle bag is a Banjo Brothers Waterproof Saddle Trunk.

BluesDawg thank so much for this info. I am still trying to get my bike set up for my first big gravel race/challenge the Pony Express 120. I am really kind of old school but was looking at your GPS unit and mount on your bike. How hard is it to set out rides into this unit, what is the unit and what is the mount?
Thanks

You know it's a fun bike when a 1 mile beer run turns into an 8+ mile dirt ride and you forget the beer. Didn't even mount light's but thanks to these tires, who needs a light?
Hit my first real half mile of deep powder/sand on a ditch bank about a quarter of the way in, and although the Marathon Plus tires being a bit sketchy, this bike handled it really well!

Hadn't posted here since my project was still in progress, but I've pretty much gotten it to where it'll be for a while. I bought a Lynskey R250 frame earlier this year and loved it so much, I decided to rebuild my dirtier bike on a similar frame with some mostly similar components...
Anyway, the Lynskey Cooper CX small has almost the same frame measurements as the R250 medium. Running DT Swiss R24 wheels with tubeless Maxxis Rambler 40 - the silkshield version. They mounted up fine after leaving them sitting with tubes for about 24 hours. The fork is a velocarbon CX model - fits the 40mm tires just fine.
40 tooth M8000 cassette with Ultegra derailleurs and a roadlink adapter. I'm a fan of the SRAM cranks, so running the 50/34 which may be a tad big of a jump on 40t cassette, but it is working with the roadlink so far.
Ultegra-level hydraulic brakes, EA70 stem, 44cm bars, and a 168mm wide Romin Pro.
I'm testing out the handlebar bag to see how it fits loaded up and shaken about as this will be my rig for the D2R2 and I won't survive without some extra fuel/water I'm afraid.

BlueDawg I read somewhere where people were having trouble with their Revelate GasTank floppinbg around some as it didn't mount too tight to the top tube. Have you had that trouble?
Thanks

How are you liking that tire and wheel combination? I have the same wheels and am thinking about putting the same tires on.

Thanks dude. Love the wheels and tires. Honestly, the 40mm GKs might be a little overkill for how I ride. They measure 43mm on these rims and they are super comfortable. I have about 400mi on them so far and they still look new. Fast enough on the pavement, grippy on the occasional 15-17% hill I come across. I really can't fault them. But I'm thinking very seriously about putting on Ramblers or Bontrager CX0 Team Issues for the weight savings.
