I don't think I'd want to ship this from England.

Large, mid 80's Nishiki with gold component package, seems unique. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/bik/5408656110.html

There's just a little something off about this bike. Hmmm. What could it be.

Oh. For starters, maybe it's because the collegiate sticker kit the seller bought at Michael's used to "rebrand" the bike doesn't even spell Voyageur correctly.

I'm in Roanoke and was tempted to go take a look. Looks like a retired commuter. Quick check says it's 531

This bike has been on (and possibly off) CL for months now. I also thought the top tube looked like it had been painted but perhaps that's how this particular year is.

Basso / ebay
Quite apparent that seller doesn't know much about his fathers bike. Also, there's not a single image of the drive side. Though even with the cable guides broken off, it doesn't look badly beat up or corroded. Original condition and a solid base to work from. Nice budget Italian machine for someone.

Aside from the crap decal on the oddly colored* top tube, it still looks like a 1989 Voyageur to me.

*It is hard to tell if the top tube is painted a different color, or just a bad photo.

That Voyageur top tube is green for sure—someone painted over the factory blue. Very strange choice.

Where I got mine was at an Animal Shelter Thrift Shop and back in the day, around the year 2000, I didn't know my size that well and I initially grabbed the Schwinn there that was pretty nice but the ladies at the counter seemed to think the Schwinn was too small for me.

Speaking of Raleigh Super Tourers, man that seems stiff for a price, I'd get that frame that was posted the other day for I think, $199, something like that though, it's a little beat.

That Schwinn Voyageur almost reminds me too, of how sometimes things, usually not bikes imho, get sun faded or hit with chemicals and change color a bit.

I swear this bike has been relisted about 10 times during January, sometimes a day apart. No idea what's up.

Appears to be a PRN10? Only at $187 shipped at the moment. Good blue color.

Here's what looks like an 85 Trek 670 frame and fork. $175 for a 531 frame seems reasonable.

Ended up going for $180, plus shipping. I bid on it, but too rich for my blood.

Damn sure went down to the last minute, eh? Last 4-5 votes came through in the final 8 minutes or so. I peeked in on it about half an hour before close and was surprised nobody put money on it. That's the second PRN10 I've seen in the last couple of weeks, previous one closed at $170-something. Glad all of them are too small for me

From the oddball files... May be a niche thing, maybe it's up someone's alley? Old CDI, 70s, somewhat anachronistically incorrect on the RD, but I mean... vintage bike ready to ride for around $110 shipped or local pickup for $50 ain't bad.
