I give a necro-thread thumbs up to my Jamis Quest Elite! I love steel, and just added a few carbon pieces here and there. It's as cool as Matchbox Twenty was in 2003!

I have a Sputnik 2014 SS and love it. Can also be used as a fixie but I don’t have the calves for that

I'm loving my Jamis Renegade Escapade with 1x SRAM Force groupset - first time I've ever used any of those.

First bike was a jamis ventura comp. Loved the bike. Regret selling it and getting my current bike. It rode so nice, just not what my mind told me I wanted. Bought me a new mountain bike and it is a Jamis. They seem to be well made. Both bikes are steel. Thinking that makes them tough and will last for a long time. A friend bought the ventura and has enjoyed it also.

I picked up a jamis sequel a few months ago with 650b wheels, it's a fine bike by all means and I love it. Recently I ordered a jamis renegade S3, I haven't received that one yet but I'm excited about it nun the less. Hopefully soon the weather will cooperate and I'll be out riding.

These Renegades are making me reconsider getting a Sequel. I already have a flat bar "Hybrid" which has become my Go To bike and don't ride my road bikes (anymore).
The Renegades remind me of how close I was to buying a Cyclocross (Cannondale) 15yrs ago. The one I ordered thru the LBS had an out of spec rear hanger. The replacement had the same issue....ended up cancelling the order but the itch hasn't been scratched yet.
A Bike shop near me sells Jamis and shows the Renegade models in stock(and on Sale) but its closed to foot traffic due to Covid19. However, they are shipping them but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger. Not sure how to properly size one online.

The jamis website shows the different sizes for rider heights so you can use that as a starting reference. My local bike shop isn't selling bikes because of covid19 but I was able to order it online and have it shipped in, the owner said it won't be a problem for me to make an appointment and pick it up. Hopefully I'll have it in a few days, I went with the renegade S3 and I think I bought the last one in my size #48 with the 650 wheels as the jamis website shows "out of stock" now.
