Not to be confused with the current brand Focus (suppliers of pro teams Milram, NetApp etc) which was founded 1993 in Stuttgart Germany by XC WC Mike Kluge and is now a brand of Derbycycle, btw

Your bike looks great and clean. I can't wait to have my bike restored and ride it. Unfortunately there are some chippee paint spots with rust. I want to keep the original paint, i'm planning to touch up the chipped and rust parts and then paint the whole bike with a clear coat spray paint.

I just bought this NOS Focus RT-550 12 speed with SunTour Cyclone derailleurs abs brakes, Sakae SA crank, and Tange 2 tubing from a local bike shop. It still had the original brown wrapping paper around the tubes to protect it. I just loved the look of it because it’s like a time capsule. Needless to say I almost don’t want to ride it because it is in such pristine condition and I’ve only taken it around the block once. I would love to post photos but like forums is not allowing me to because it considers them as URLs

Just added this RS-500 to the herd. It just arrived yesterday and I haven't had a chance to finish the reassembly but the paint is in phenomenal condition. Once it's all back together I'll get pics with my SG-300.

It looks to be circa 1985-1986. Serial number, please! TIA.
