Spine protection
Anyone ever wear a spine guard? When I rode my motorcycle I always had one. Protects on impact and hyperextending your back. Also helps with road rash. I have never seen any bicyclist wear one. Whether on the trail or road does anyone use them?

I don't think there's anything like a motorcycle back protector for bicycles. (I have a couple of them for my motorcycles, one specifically for when I race).
The Knoxx (Forcefield, I think it's called) is small and light enough, that it could be safely worm on a bike, I think, without being exceedingly hot. Neither of the two I currently own would work on a bike, since they have straps, but mostly rely on the leathers to hold them in place.
You might look at some of the mtn bike armor. Not sure if they make anything specifically like a back protector (I haven't seen one).
