Campy RD, CHORUS

Finally got the last derailleur, early Chorus (late '80s), I needed for the Italian builds. It's there somewhere along with a Mirage, Chorus carbon 11, Record carbon/Ti 10; Nuovo Gran Sport; Nuovo Records; Velox; Super Record early, Super Records later.

Worked perfectly! Those Velox derailleurs just don't want to stay upright. I hope I can still use it for a free draught at the"Club House". At least I kept the personal information from view, although I have no problem advertising for you either.

BING Saddle

Got this odd saddle from an equally odd individual. Small size, I believe it is for a juvenile rider. It's in excellent condition except for a few scars; older style construction (pre '70s). I have a '50s Turci frame that is a juvenile race frame so it will be a good fit. Odd frame size: 46cm seat tube, 56cm top tube (both c-c); seems like quite a reach for a small rider. Due to the length, I will be able to ride this frame. It uses 24" wheels so I need some shorter cranks, and having a heck of a time finding race wheels in 24". My Nishiki Linear has a 24" front, so I was hoping there would be some decent spares kicking around, but no luck yet.

Anyone looking to unload some 24" rims/wheels (no BMX please), please contact me. Thanks!

I have no idea...

Expecting some Campy ti cogs. And I got this:

eBay shipping goof. This is one of "those" days for me. Lots of time consuming little stuff swamping me and sucking up my time. But tonight I will hopefully get a chance to see how laser etching works on black anodized aluminum!
Cheers, Eric

Whoa! I just figured out what these bad boys are... Be patient with me, the only ones I've ever looked at up close were on my cars. Awesome looking and brand spanking new disc brake calipers! Bet someone's gonna want these back...

I won an auction on the fleabay for a late 1940s Sturmey Archer dynamo light set off of a '47 Raleigh Lenton. It arrived today. I didn't expect to win, but sniped it somehow. These sets often go for too much money, especially when you consider just how easily you can acquire quality, attractive lighting from B&M. However, these lights are period correctish for the 1956 Raleigh Sports I am giving to my girl for Christmas (below). The seller included the 1946 GH6 dynohub in the photo with the lightset, but did not include it in the description. I just figured they used a general photo and sold the items separately. That is...until I opened the package and found a 1946 dated GH6 dynohub in great condition along with the lamps. I already have a '47 GH6 that I am building into a 26 x 1 3/8 wheel for the bike (to power these lights once I finish the LED light upgrade: Classic Three Speeds: LED Lighting: Circuit Board and LED's

I was surprised and pleased. I might have to build this into a wheel for my touring bike and put some dynamo lights on it. I already have dynamo lighting planned for my Peugeot project + B&M lights powered by a '62 GH6.

The Sugino Mighty crankset arrived today. I re-boxed it and sent it off to merziac for re-threading to 9/16ths this afternoon. I will replace the current Campy Gran Sport crankset with the Sugino once it comes back.

Finally found a nice set of Superbe levers at a nice price for my 85 Allez. Came with a set of calipers for spare parts too. ( I needed a pivot nut)
The rustines hoods fit pretty well.

Normally not worth a picture, but I got these chainrings from Hilary Stone (in Wales). I ordered them Nov 24, Hilary shipped them Nov 28, and they arrived yesterday.

Received this crankset from Mad Honk today. Quick wipe showed it to be a good choice for my MTB project. It will give me something else to putter on when I get tired of cutting the seatpost out of the frame...

Disassembled and awaiting a clean and reconfiguration.

These actually came a couple weeks ago. A VAR die stock for my VAR 25mm x 1mm "French thread" steer tube die, and a VAR-30 fixed cup tool with the 30/1 jaw. I had to make my own handle for the VAR-30, but the price was right:
