Pedals keep turning Nexus 3 speed
When I'm walking my 3spd nexus bike, the pedals are turning. Sturmey archer 3 speeds did the same thing and it was usually the rear hub adjustment was too tight. The SA had to have just the slightest hint of play in the rear wheel.
Is this the same thing with the Nexus 3spd?

This is a common issue with Nexus hubs. The usual cause in my experience is friction between the cog and dust cover. I have several 7 and 8 speed Shimano Nexus/Alfine hubs, and they all do it to one degree or another. It can be somewhat mitigated by lubing the contact surface between them.Time and mileage usually improves the situation.

If the top of your chain isn't going slack when you coast, I wouldn't worry about it whether internal or external geared.
