RBG died yesterday. She was a New York working class kid who turned out well. I don't know if she ever rode a bike - but if she did, what would it be. Keep in mind she was 87 years old at the end.

I am sure if Bianchi made high end ladies frames she would ride a Bianchi but this is classy enough for her

That looks more like Wonder Woman to me; but RBG was that without the chain (or rope) of truth. She didn't need anything other than her wit.

Considering her diminutive physical stature, which didn't match her real stature, I'd say a Terry. Or Ironwoman. But nowadays she could get a Wyndy Milla 650b custom made to her proportions, like Emma Pooley.

Ride on, RGB.

She would ride a trike or a bike with a side car.

Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves. Why would she ride a mixte or some other "women's" bike. I hope she haunts you in your dreams and you see/hear her laughing while you hang on your nightmare-stand-over boys bike.

I'd put her on a lugged Stumpjumper or Singletrack with dirtdrop stem and Northroads.

Actually, a mixte frame is not a woman's bike and would be totally appropriate. RBG spent her entire career trying to equalize the law as it applied to both men and women. As wikipedia says, "Mixte (pronounced [mikst]) is a direct appropriation of the French word meaning "mixed" or "unisex"."

That said, I like your Stumpjumper idea. Personally I'd like to see her on a gravel grinder of some kind. Fast and able to ride over whatever treacherous terrain got in the way.

It would be a tandem and the stocker would not have pedals. She would generously carry the load herself.
