Trek "Dog Food" Transport
So, I've pretty much settled on the Trek Transport (non-electric assist) for my next bike as I am getting more and more car-free. I probably will be ordering it and setting it up sometime this next summer. Today, I needed to use a car to go get a 50 pound bag of Dog Food for our two pooches - I was happily thinking "You know, this summer I will actually be able to do this on my bike . . ."

Twenty five pound bag. Grocery bag panniers give me the necessary surface area. I don't know that I'd want to try 50 lbs this way.

This is one of my favorite utility rides - to get dog food! We pick up 35 or 55 lbs at a time, depending on whether we need big only or big and small dog food.
The photo below is when we had more dogs, so that run was 90-lbs worth.
