Did 105 pedals get more expensive? What's a good deal?
I bought 105 pedals about a year ago for $55 brand new from nashbar. Now it seems the going price is about $100. What's going on? What's the sweet spot for pedals on price / performance?

I'm confused by the state of inventory but $70 for carbon pedals sounds good to me. - seems like some places still have the 5700 pedals. maybe shimano is doing only carbon now?

I got 5800's for $63 on Probikekit a while ago. I used a coupon, though. $70 is a good price. I don't think I've seen lower than that.

My legs sweat a lot so the aluminum pedals were completely corroded after one season. The carbon version Ultegra pedals look great after 2 seasons. I wouldn't buy the aluminum versions again.

I just bought Ultegras at Ribble for $106 delivered. They're OEM, so no fancy packaging, but I was happy with the price. They have the 5800's too, in the $70 range, plus shipping.
