Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

To my great surprise saw Lance Armstrong with this exact frameset in one of his bio-pics. Time for my EPO and call to Dr Ferrara. Cows love it.

If I ride the gravel tires on the road, it still counts, right? Not sure I want to ride my road wheels again, this setup is fast and comfortable and can go anywhere.

Color combo of the frame and wheel decals is TOP NOTCH. I dig it.

I wasn't sure on the gold, they came that way since I won them, but I like the way it looks! Might do some Supacaz gold star tape, and maybe a gold/black chain, just to add a couple more small gold touches.

Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod
I had the standard model several years ago and sold it as I fell out of cycling for a while. Got the chance to purchase this frameset a few months back and build it up in SRAM Red.

Just converted my Scott Metrix, to a custom Scott Addict. The Metrix is essentially a flat bar road bike with Shimano 105. Since the Metrix frame is the same as the Addict, and this bike wasn’t getting much use, I exited to give it some love and it can share the riding with my Cervelo R3. Now as full Ultegra (crank was installed after the first ride), carbon wheels, Fizik Antares Adaptive saddle, Pro Vibe seat post, Easton Ec70 bar.

Just picked up a new 2021 BMC Teammachine SLR Three with Ultegra today. Only able to take a quick spin today but looking forward to a much longer first ride tomorrow. It handles and shifts like a dream!

I need to weigh it, but modest guess is 15 lbs.
It's weird to feel almost retro on a brand new build with non-direct mount rim brakes, no dropped seatstays, round seatpost, no electronic groupset, & alloy stem/bars.

This is replacing my crash-broken Ribble R872
That's a beauty! I find the Fuji's are quite under-rated around here (Canada). I'm looking at the SL myself, since I can get a good deal on one.

I've put about 800 miles on it so far, not disappointed at all. I'm spoiled with the light weight now. I agree also that Fuji road & cross bikes often get overlooked but they can hold their own or even outperform comparable frames.

Already impressed with the SBC 7005 Undefeated I built up this past Sept, I went with their 6061 Black Label All-Road for my first 1x/all-road build. Now I'm afraid to admit this may now become my full-time road bike.

I'm going to blame the 'rona for making me bicycle crazy. Same road bike for > 30 years, got a used road bike a few months ago but don't like it. Picked this up a few days ago.

Its a 2015 and has been ridden only 500 miles. Came with dt350 and velocity rims but I swapped my nice wheels over. $1250!

When I went to buy it I test rode it for 50 feet and my knees could feel the frame singing. Lovely lovely ride, stiff and just the right amount of rebound. Lets hope this tempers the flames of my bicycle lust.

Has been 20 years since I had fenders on a bike, today I rode in pouring rain and my shoes stayed dry so maybe I'll keep them on.

Still adjusting the fit. Need to up the bar width.
