It's early eighties, super, or they may have been calling the chrome lugs superissimo, either way, it's a mutt as far as the parts, but if undamaged tubes and dropouts, no way you lose. If you feel like repainting, I have decals.
Go for it.
If the paint's good enough the decal went right over, (no clearcoat) If you need parts, got those too.

I saw these and checked and said wow, they're cheap and nice parts too. Really nice looking. They don't look like 60cm unless seller measured from ground, or seat tube from BB to top of seatpost/bottom of seat.

My Covid border restriction meter is burning up.

Is this a 21" frame? John Stinsman (signature is on the NDS chainstay) built good stuff, and it looks like there's a 531 sticker's earthly remains on the seat tube. Are you going to check it out?

the seller obviously can't measure, cause those wheels are mounted with ETRTO 622 tires...

Who, me? Noooo. Too small and too distant for me to comfortably facilitate.

If I post it here, it's "fair game". Is that not this thread's purpose.

I chased a track bike built by the same builder: fork ends, tubular wheelset, desirable drivetrain (can't remember what it was now) but 48cm seat tube and 50cm top tube. I was sad, and strongly considered entering the world of Bicycle Arbitrage because of it.
This one looks to be a 54cm frame with what I'd call a 'sport touring' or 'recreational' geometry.

BUT SOMEONE'S THERE BUYING THIS GUY'S BIKES! He listed a sliver mist schwinn super le tour 12.2 that I can't find anymore, and the unusual magnep bike is sold!

Vintage Schwinn Paramount road bike (circa 1989)
$500
NOTE: Seller says it just had a $400 service but I can't tell if photos pre-service or after. If After seller got cheated cause bike is still dirty. Perhaps seller went for a last nostalgic ride

per ad:

Late-80s Schwinn Paramount road bike. I just had this bike rebuilt by The local Trek shop from top to bottom ($400 service). New brakes, tires, cables, grips, etc. I kept the original mechanicals on there. That said, someone could have changed something on it during the 90s before I had it, but I couldn’t tell you the difference. This is one of the pre-China bikes that is sought after. The size is approximately 54, which is what the Trek shop told me. It’s got about 50 miles since the rebuild - it’s just too small for me so I’m moving on. It mostly sat idle in the attic for about 20 years before I dusted it off earlier this year. I put some bigger tires on it with some tread to make the bike more urban-friendly. You can switch it back to fast rubber if you want! I know it was repainted once in the early 90s - I was friends with the original owner - and there’s some wear and tear nicks and dings from being a 30+ year old bike. It’s fun to ride, I wish it was bigger. The pedals were removed for my new bike FYI, so test ride will be tough unless you’re handy with your own pedals.

Look again, Mad Honk. The Magnep isn't available anymore, but I think he still has the two Veloce bikes.

Later: shared Veloce is still listed, plus another. I'm jealous if you can find a Mule!

Yeah no way thats a 56. Makes you wonder why/how people mess up so badly on the sizes. Seems like half of everything I see for sale these days is incorrectly sized. Indeed a nice bike for a nice price though.

$275. Not that familiar with the NFS nor it's value but this looks pretty clean and sharp (given only two pics to inspect). Seller notes 650(?) wheels. Little Rock is a bit too far from me right now and I'm not in buying mode.

This one deserves mention - Liberia was a regional manufacturer in Grenoble, France. The ones in the U.S. mostly came in during the peak of the great Bike Boom as importers scoured Europe for bikes to sell. I rode the Clunker Challenge a couple of years back on the men's frame version of this and realized this was no ordinary French $100 campus 10-speed. You know how the French have a way with gas pipe? Liberia went a notch or two further, and they ride way better than they should. They also tended to do just a little bit more prep and little fussy details the better known makers missed, like fitting an axle stop on the left side rear dropout to match the adapter claw position, or the use of R.F.G. headsets, bottom brackets and hubs (only the first applies in this case, alas).

Or you could spend the $75 and snag it for the T.A. crankset with French BB AND what appear to be ALLOY M.A.F.A.C. guidonnet brake levers.

We have one of those here too, NFS is "Need for Speed" and it's an early Tri frame. I understand this to be a Richard Cunningham-designed answer to the Dave Scott Iron Man and Scott Tinley Technium frames. 650c because they spin up faster?

Nishiki Altron, Missing shift levers, some cables, and replacement 650c tubular tires aren't cheap...
