Kona

Because it's orange, lugged, has an Ultegra 9 speed drive, and BioPace crank.

It's nice to get a compliment when you've put work into these things.

I've had them for my red and white Ironman. Had an older fellow call out, "That's a nice bike!" when I rode by on my green Super Course.

A couple of weeks ago I was at a stop light and this guy in a car one lane over was ogling my Colnago hard. He's staring and staring, and his girlfriend has this big grin on her face.
Guy finally says, "I don't know why, but I really like that bike."

I said, "Thanks. I do too." They had a little laugh and then the light changed.

My lowly trash find Raliegh MT-200 seems to get the most attention.

Strangely Enough It Is This Bike!?!

Must be the bright yellow that attracts the eyes because it isn’t valuable or high end in any way!

This one gets compliments from both cyclists and other road users. That big rando bag draws them in, I expect. Apologies for posting it so often lately.

[QUOTE=momoman;21684446]These are not my bikes but I saw the first 2 on an organized ride a few years ago.

I don’t know what he did at red lights.

The person in the first-aid booth appears to be calling for an ambulance.
Best, Ben

My Rudge highwheel always draws crowds when I ride this machine. I do not ride it as much as i used to and will bring her out for parades or special occasions now.

My Rivendell Appaloosa gets the most comments... Everything from "Nice bike!" to that look, that says "Hmmmm, he

doesn't look like a Rivendell rider..."

I don't think that's odd at all. That's a great example of an iconic classic bike that hundreds of thousands of folks rode during their youth. For a certain generation "Schwinn" is almost synonymous with bike.

Franceso Moser 1984/85, something like that.. after he set the hour record anyway. Oria TT0.9 which I believe is a straight gauge non butted tubeset. It's not terribly period correct, yet of my fleet, this is the bike that gets the most comments and interest
