Bike trails/rides near St. Helena?
My girlfriend and I are planning a wine tasting outing soon in St. Helena (Merryvale, Duckhorn, and maybe some others) and I知 wondering if any of you know of trails or fun rides in the area that we can do in the morning prior to wine tasting. Maybe 15-20 miles long?

Off-road; Moore Creek Park. Dozens of miles of trails of varying levels of technical demand. Beautiful scenery.
On-road hilly; Take Silverado Trail south to Sage Canyon Road (Highway 128) east, left on Chiles Pope Valley Road, up the hill and right on Lower Chiles Road as far as Nichelini winery, turn right again all the way back down to the Trail and back into town.
Flat; Up to Calistoga, via Highway 29 one way and Silverado Trail the other; 29 is wider with more traffic, but more shoulder. 29 has slightly less traffic, but gets a bit narrow in places close to St Helena. Calistoga and back, or Yountville and back to the South, are both going to be just over 20 miles round trip; Oakville or Rutherford would be shorter trips to the South.
Stop in at Clif Winery or St Helena Cyclery and ask for directions, you might meet a departing group from either location that you can tag along with.

Napa county wineries are open, Sonoma county opened today. There will be a rush of tourists that will make riding here not very pleasant. The Bay Area is full of people who have been cooped up for weeks. Many have newly purchased bicycles and low skills. Please be careful. Thanks.

Leinster, thank you for the suggestions!!
I confess to being one of those tourists who has been cooped up and wants to visit Napa now that things are opening... although I知 coming from the other side in Sacramento.
I was hoping for a ride off on a trail or something away from the main highways/roads that we could complete early BEFORE tasting, but it looks like that might not really be an option.
We have visited the valley about once a month for the past few years and really miss it. Maybe we will do an early am ride along the river here in Sac and then drive up afterwards a and spend the night.
