Giant Escape vs. Fastroad
I badly need a new bike. I would like a "fast hybrid", that is a hybrid bike for the flat handlebars but as close as a road bike as far as weight and speed are concerned.
As much as I would like something fancy like BMC Alpenchallenge or Canyon Roadlite, those are unobtainable. Same for Specialized Sirrus (which may still have a crank issue) or Trek models. I do not want to wait months.
Turns out, the LBS may have Giant escape 1 and fastroad SL3 available. Fastroad advanced would be a bit of a stretch at $2k MSRP (worth it?).
Any notable differences between those two?
They also have Felt VerzaSpeed 6 and 10 and Marin Presidio 2 and 3. Those any good?
Appreciate any advice based on experience.

I have a 2019 Fastroad, moving from a Trek 6.4 DS. It was a major upgrade for me in terms of comfort and speed, but comes with only 18 speed so I noticed some missing climbing gears. Very happy with it.
