Cam type hip impingement
The medical lab I use posts the results online and I see them before my doctor appointment. My latest round of X-rays showed a cam type hip impingement. It is largely asymptomatic (X-rays were for my urologist and not based in any specific symptoms).
I see my doc on Tuesday for my regular check up and will definitely be listening to his advice. I have already started reading up about it. However, I am curious if any of you have adjusted your bikes to help deal with this. Any suggestions?

I’m somewhat curious what your doc said on Tuesday.
The 21st Century Cures Act mandates medical providers immediately provide to their patients nearly all test results and clinical notes.
This is wonderful, BUT there are potential downsides.
Remember, you are human. If they look, they will find, many times “something else” (I’m guessing your urologist wasn’t looking for hip images.)
When we read, we often google, then we often worry.
Your images show an ASYMPTOMATIC something else. There may very well be nothing for you to “deal with.”

I am not worried about it in general. I posted here just in case anyone else had it to see if they adapted their riding or their bikes.
