Sunday morning Cruise

I took the FatTire out for a little cruise this morning.
had to clean off the dust and cobwebs and air up the tires , but it rode great to have sat for a couple of years.
I’d forgotten how fun this thing is to ride .
Rides smaller than it is .

Glad to read both bike and you had a good ride. Sunday around here(NC coast) was sunny and dry after 2 days of bucket rain. I took advantage of the weather as well and rode.

Nice looking machine! Is it a factory Fat Tire or did you have them changed along with the other nice upgrades?

On Sunday, I took my cruiser with our weekly club ride on a 25-mile trip to breakfast. I took a different (and lighter) cruiser on a 54-mile ride on Saturday (the day before). Curvy-tube bikes are fun!

90%stock , I swapped out the handlebars and changed the shifter from a twist grip to a trigger shifter .
Added different pedals , added the rack and the Brooks B-67 saddle .

B-67 Brooks are perfect for cruisers! Good choice on the shifter change as well.

Yes !
Electra has discontinued the 7d Fat Tire , I’m glad I was able to get one while they were still available.

That's what I thought, I may be able to fit some 2.8's or 3's on the frame of my electric Townie Go. This is my favorite bike, the electric power is seamless, the disk brakes are wonderful ,and it rides so nice Electra makes some nice stuff.

Nice looking bike .
The tires are 26x3.5” . The wheels are heavy duty with thick spokes .
The bike is built like a tank .

This past week I’ve been working on another single speed conversion and put the finishing touches on it this morning and took it on a six mile Sunday Morning Cruise .
I’m up to six SS conversions .
I love riding SS . And these conversions remind me of the bikes I rode when I was young .
I never owned a new bike growing up. My bikes were built from parts I would salvage out of the bikes folks would throw out on the side of the street for the garbage to pickup .
