I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly love my 14 Roubaix!

Nothing special to say, had my Roubaix a few weeks now. Back into cycling at 53 after an aborted attempt ten years ago. Love it! Learned tons of stuff in here in general and "the 41" in particular!

Any rate, I'm doing a steady 22 miles three - four times a week. and averaging 16.6mph (today!that's my best speed so far using the same route).

Amazingly no aches or pains probably because I've been riding sportbike motorcycles for years now.

Which Roubaix did you get? I had a 2006 Comp model and wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of it. I test rode a 2013 Elite and wasn't very impressed. I didn't care much for the Apex group either. I remember the 2006 being extremely plush riding but the 2013 was a much different ride. Much more ordinary than I remember my old Roubaix.

I got the 2014 Roubaix SL4 Comp Ultegra C2.

It's funny, I was in the LBS earlier today and a guy came in with an 06 Roubaix he brought new and has 21000 miles on the odometer!

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I test rode one at the LBS and fell in love with that bike.

I'd love to have one, but can't justify the cost. They sure are sweet bikes. My solution to go with a steel bike with fat tires..... Nice ride but just not the same.... Post some pics of your new bikes so I can eat my heart out some more..
