I'm just getting back into cycling after recovering from a bad motorcycle accident and would definitely give one of these a good home! I can't PM yet, but please email me at pngpearson@gmail.com. Thanks a lot, appreciate it!

A BIG thank you to BigBiker64. I received one of his jerseys Friday and am proudly wearing it today! THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I will keep the tradition going when I shrink out of it.

I don't have any extra jerseys, but I do have a wetsuit that I would like to pass on. I had it made when I did my first sprint triathlon a few years ago. I was 6'4" around 365 at the time. Down around 300 now and can squeeze into an xxl tri-suit. Anyone interested let me know. If you are local to Orange County, CA the wetsuit shop does alterations for very cheap if you want a better fit. Free locally or just pay for the ride otherwise.

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric,
I just signed up for my first tri sprint today and would like to purchase. I am 6'3" 260 and it sounds like it will fit perfect. What is your asking price shipped to Avon, Indiana?
Thank you sir,
Jason

Good to know you did it! I'm at 238, and trying to hit the magic 200 number. Am I missing something by not wearing a real jersey? I wear a pair of good bibs, but top it off with good ol' cotton T-shirt, usually one that advertises my local bike shop. I even have my own "diaper pail," a covered hamper for my stinky shirt!

Probably not. If you're wearing bibs without shorts over the top, a jersey could be useful because of the back pockets. Keys, wallet, phone, banana, pump, etc. Some of that can be stashed in a seatbag, but then you have to stop to get at it. Personally I would never go with a cotton shirt, as it doesn't get rid of sweat fast enough. A jersey would do better there, but so would a "technical tee". So the last remaining reason for a jersey is aerodynamics, if you're riding such that a flapping shirt makes a difference to you. For me I prefer a flapping shirt to a clinging jersey, but I got a free jersey from work for our "cycling club" so I'm trying to get used to wearing it on lunchtime group rides.

Can I ask that this thread be left to the "free jerseys" topic? To discuss anything else, please feel free to start a thread. I think you'll get more participation if it's not buried in here.

Trade or give away:

White Performance XL sleeveless jersey with black accents. I used to wear this over a black long-sleeve base layer in cool weather and it looked good. Also a good hot weather jersey for anyone who likes going sleeveless. Unisex club fit. Size runs true to most of my XL t-shirts. Will give away for cost of shipping (about $7 USPS Priority Mail). Please PM if interested.

Actually you know what? I don't think I would make good use of a sleeveless. I'll step aside and let somebody else get this who will use it more/better.

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. I never really thought that I would be interested in a jersey, but after reading this thread and considering the visibility issue and the rear pockets, it appears that wearing one would make sense. I would like to speak up for a 2XL short sleeve or sleeveless if anyone has an extra. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys --

Two more available (just did a purge and found them). My new rule is if I pass them up when they are on top, they go. Especially if it's because they are too loose.

One is a Giordana with a Canada theme -- one of the nicest jerseys I've ever had. It's just too big.

The other is a Scott, white with black and red. IIRC, it's notably long in the body.

Both fit me well at 6'3 / 250, with a 17.5 neck, 48 chest and 40 waist. Now at 210, 16 neck and 36 waist they're just too big.

PM preferred, and to keep the good vibe here I'd prefer to send to two different guys / gals. I'll pay for the mailing, too. No biggie.

PM sent on the jerseys.... Edit to add I originally said either, but if the Scott is longer then that would be better for me.
