Time RX Instinct for 2011
I was just about to order the Time RX in small when I noticed the frame weight is 1750 grams. Does that sound heavy. Most other frames I am looking at are around 1000 grams. I am also interested in Look 586 RS. Any feedback will help me in my choice. Thank you in advance.

It's not a boat anchor but there are lighter frames to be had if that's what you're concerned about.

Throw the stick!!!!
If the 1750 includes the weight of the headset and fork then it's not terrible. Most of the frames that are around 1,000 grams is listing the weight for the frame only.

I'm pretty sure that weight is for the "kit" or "module", which includes fork/headset, stem, seatpost, bottle holder, and possibly the handlebars. The frame itself is about a kilo... https://www.wrenchscience.com/road/fr...rameset+-+2010
