This past spring I bought a Specialized Diverge E5 Comp. It has been a great bike for me. Primarily a road bike but fun on trail too. I've put in over 1,000 miles with that bike this summer and with the weather changing to cool nights I am burnt out on the road. I have been craving the woods. So, I bought a Giant Talon 29 3 hardtail bike a week ago. I have found out that 3 miles in the woods is like 12 miles on the road.

I love this Giant. Nice bike for $550 bucks. It replaces my Scwhinn that I am having a hard time saying good bye to. A girl is coming by tomorrow to buy it at the pay it forward price of $80. New breaks, new derailluers, new grips, new shifters. She's gonna love that bike. Here's a couple pictures of where the Scwhinn took me and what the new bike looks like. I love the woods.....

Congrats, I think the Talon is great deal for those starting to ride in the woods. Your color choice is also nice and timeless.
Hope the buyer enjoys the Schwinn as much as you have.

Congrats on the new bike. My first MTB was a Schwinn. I'm still riding an older MTB, but the new 29'ers are getting some interest from me. But at 68, I'm not riding trails often enough for me to justify a new bike. The old 26'er gets me around. No doubt a 29'er would make it easier to ride over some of the features of the trails I ride. Have a blast with the new bike!!
