Need help with tire choice

/watch?v=B1inpYGUdSQ (I am not allowed to post URL's)
Hi, this is my electric mountain bike that I am planning to use mainly for drifting on low-grip surfaces. You can see that right now there is a fat and grippy tire at the back, but I think this is a bad tire for what I want to do. Should I buy a lower-grip regular road tire so this tire can drift easier? On the first thought, I would do this, but on the second thought, I am afraid that the tire I buy will die much, much faster than this one, because road tires are generally weak... Piece of advice needed here Just to make clear, I need to accomplish 2 goals:
- Tire that makes drifting easier. Not just to initiate but also to control.
- Tire that lasts, although I understand that this will be an expensive hobby anyway.
