Well then, here's a little primer for them, but they probably don't know of Dick Clark either.

A little "garden" of lichens, growing on the decaying top of a wooden crash barrier by a country road.

We absolutely do, because there are a lot of posts in this thread I would have used it on. At least we have a thumb up emoticon.

When you are posting, look up at the header just above, and there you will see a little smiley face, click on that and you will see all the emoticon options.

i am working with a set of wonderful macro lens that are great for the most part, but i a mostly a night person, and they are slow as hell. and they have a really really limited depth of field. but when you snag something with them they are great,

or when i make the mistake of taking them out during the day and grab the wrong one, sometimes i have to work for a bit to get the shop I want. but even then it is worth it. just takes time,

Night and macro work at the opposite ends of the scale so you have to choose one or the other. Also, the annoying passenger distraction can be easily removed in your post editor.

i actually thought it would come out looking worse if I fiddled with it too much. so I left it alone, unfortunately out of all of my shots I didnt get any further to left and I didnt think to have my fish-eye filter, which I have since dug out.

Best I could do.

These complex murals can be a real challenge due to multiple colors or textures, but here's a quick example. I'm the sort of photographer that likes to compose before hand so post work is limited. Nevertheless, sometimes its unavoidable. If there's a big telephone pole right in the middle of your otherwise perfect shot, there's not much you can do about it.

There's this beautiful new modern designed museum in Beverly Hills that I've been avoiding due to all the lamp poles, traffic, traffic signal and construction. Its been over a year and I may have to wait another 6-9 months before all the street work is done and even attempting it. Its just way too busy to get anything useful at this point.

North Superior looks great WhiFi, but not sure how you could do a "quick" trip up there!
Wildlife in the hot weather in Algonquin Park was subdued last week, but we did see some foxes on the way.

thats part of the problem, that car was blocking the artist sig, and it was 105 plus out that day, and I had food with me. i have around bunch of pics with the parking lot in the depth in the depth of field and the mural slightly fuzzy, the cars cut out, a bunch of stuff that odds are i will be out there again with a different load out at a different time of day when they are closed to get a pano.
