Vintage Basso

I have an old Basso / Columbus frame#507232. 58cm. Excellent condition. I purchased new in Cambridge, MA - mid-1980's. I would like to know more about this particular bike (have lost all documentation). Can anyone provide any recommendation? Thanks.

Hi Bronzyel,

Your basso sounds a lot like one that I have. Does the rear brake cable pass through the interior of the top tube? I purchased mine (frame only) in 1993. It did not come with any documentation though.

It's a very nice ride. I can't bring myself to part with mine, despite having moved on to two other, newer bikes that I purchased more recently.
