Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Spacers came with the Forte' singlespeed kit from performancebike.com. After everything was all said & done they are the only things aside from the lock ring that I used from the kit. They're just plastic but do look nice IMO.

Early '90s Specialized Hardrock Ultra. SS convertion kit. Awesome on the CX track (a.k.a. the Arrowhead walking path!)

Number Five...

Does anyone need a white Turbo saddle..the thing is a friggin' ass hatchet.

Opted for some leather in the way of a vintage Lycett (which was made by Brooks).

I'll take some detailed pics of the saddle (it is not that pretty) and post them tomorrow figuring that I will put it up for sale / trade as I will never ride on this accursed thing.

I like older leather saddles that fit my older butt a little better.
