These guys have them listed in their catalog:

GS-43 (RALEIGH TYPE)
Set of 5/6 pcs. Polished & B.C.P., Ball size : 5/32" (3.97mm)
Thread size : 1"(25.4mm) X 26 TPI BSCY or 1" X 24 TPI BSCY Washer SP.

N.B. I've never bought anything from them; I just stumbled across their web site while looking for old Raleigh parts.

Wanted Cinelli Stem 100mm

Wanted a Cinelli stem for 26.4mm bar, 100mm long. 90 will do if that's what you've got. Condition relatively unimportant.

Can trade a de-anodized and polished one in 120mm.

Thanks.

My dads bike is down for the count, and he is really missing his granny gear. What happened is he lost the bolts and spacers for two of the mounting points. The ring is also bent, but I may be able to take care of that.

Are these bolts that hold the small ring on specific to this crank, or is it a matter of a simple trip to the hardware store?

Picture of the two bolts that are left:

The bolts are pretty generic and your LBS should have them. If not, drop me a note and I'll send some out. I doubt you'd find exact replacements at the hardware store although you might find something that would work.

Wanted: 5 speed 14-32t Suntour Perfect freewheel. Similar touring range freewheel may be fine too. New preferred, but not essential. Mine's original to a Motobecane Grand Touring (circa 1979/80?) & I'm not sure yet if I've got French threading (is that possible?) 'cause I need a 2 prong remover tool too!

Trade/prices welcome.

ISO: Older touring bike. Gotta have cantilever brakes, horizontal dropouts and lots of clearance. I'm thinking something Japanese, along the lines of a Miyata 610 or 1000 or Univega Gran Turismo, maybe a Schwinn Voyageur... Show me what you got.

It's for a single-speed, cyclocross/commuter type thing I'm dreaming up, so if the idea of repurposing an old bike (non-invasively) offends you, I'm not your guy.

To trade I have a 1988 Centurion Ironman Master, 58 cm. Looking for same size or one smaller (56 or 57).

Not totally for sure I want to go through with trading away my Ironman, but let me see what's out there.

I'm looking for white hooded, '80s aero brake levers. Just failed to win an ebay auction for a pair and now i'm sad... can anyone cheer me up? I suppose i'd entertain gum colored, too.

PS, does anyone else HATE black bike parts as much as me?

I should add that I don't have too much to offer for trade - most of my stuff is junk compared to what you all have...

ISO: One very short reach set of recessed brake calipers in decent shape, matching levers would be a bonus. I'm working on a Lotus frame acquired from a fellow member and with the Mavic GP4 wheelset I'm using none of my calipers will come close to more than about 1/4 of the pad on the inside edge of the rims. I've got stuff and $$$.

I have been unable to get rid of this frame, so lets try another tactic.

Have:
87 Schwinn Circuit Frame/Fork/Headset. 61 CM (24 inches) center to top.

From the 87 catalog, the frame is Columbus SL double butted Chromoly, with SP on the down tube for this larger frame. 73 degree head angle, 74 degree seat angle. Wheelbase of 39.5 inches. The dropouts are forged, and it has Tange Aero seat stays. The fork is a Tange Aero with sloping crown and forged dropouts. The fork appears to be painted over chrome. The headset is Stronglight.
The paint on the frame is ugly. I am in Mesa, Arizona.

More picts in the for sale thread:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=550142

Want:
54cm lugged steel frame of similar quality and vintage. This frame is would be for my wife, so girly colors are ok. Prefer late 80's vintage, but I am flexible. Would take or add cash as needed.

Additional haves:
Ultegra 6500 (octalink) bottom bracket for a triple (118.5mm spindle) -- with Italian Threads.
Ritchey WCS quill stem. Made by Nitto, 26.0 clamp.

Additional Needs
Ultegra 6500 or similar bottom bracket for triple, octalink, triple, 118.5 spindle, but with English threads to fit an 87 paramount frame.

Ultegra or similar 9 speed cassette. Prefer 12-25t. And 9 speed chain.

I just got a NOS Campagnolo BB spindle for 68mm (English) thick cup Record BB cups. Spindle is marked 68-SPc, and I believe 111mm wide. I believe these were intended for C-Record.

That said, it doesn't give me the best chainline with the '72 Paramount that well, and I'd be willing to swap for a comparable Campagnolo 113-114mm 68mm thick-cup spindle if possible.

I also have an NOS Italian Campagnolo spindle, 70-SS; again, 111mm wide. Pretty sure this one is for thick cups as well. I'd be willing to trade this one in leu of the 68-SPc as well.

I'm having a heck of a time finding some 44cm silver bars with a 25.4 clamp area for my '83 Voyageur SP. It came with 39s, and that's not working out for me.

Other things I'm looking for:

-9 or 10 speed triple crank & bottom bracket, shimano 105 or better
-Triple front derailleur, clamp-on (28.6), shimano 105 or better
-Generator hub, 3N-8N72 preferably, but other models might be ok. 36 hole would be ideal but 32 might work

Hello lotek. I am not sure if I classify as a C&Ver. I have few older bikes but no raleighs or varsities hanging about. I also do not prowl around 2nd shops looking for Peugeots and Puchs LOL. I do enjoy bicycles and learning all about them.

OH FYI everyone the search for the front derailuer is almost over. the clamp on the one I got on ebay is perfect not I just need a "Speen"(?) top pul adapter.
