Beautiful and quite a rare crankset, especially if it is with 9/16 pedal threading. GLWTS!

Question: is it 9/16 pedal threading?

And what is the arm length?

I can't quite make out the relevant markings in the photos.

Depending on those details, I may be interested - I've always loved the 107s, and have a new big ring with the matching Stronglight engraving to go with...

Thanks for the info. English threads a plus!

I prefer longer cranks, so I'm going to hold off - though I admit I'm unlikely to find so nice at a real nice price in a longer length anytime soon.

Question of fit on Mercier road bike

Will Stronglight Spidel 107 crankset work on my 1970s Mercier? I know it needs cotterless crankshaft before..

If your mercier has a cottered crank, this won't work without at least a new spindle and likely a new bottom bracket and spindle.

If your mercier has a cotterless crank, then this will likely work. French bottom brackets and spindles, in my experience, have good interchangeability.
