Tire clearance on 2016 Specialized Allez Elite?

I recently purchased a pair of Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheels, non LG version which are 15mm wide internal. I got 25mm Ultra sport tires since I couldn't afford the GP 4000 ii tires and the bike shop sold them for double the price of other places. I got 25mm tires to be safe but I noticed that they look more narrow than on my old wheels which were Axis 1.0 and made the stock 25mm tires like 28mm. Would 28mm GP 4000 ii tires fit on my bike since the rim is more narrow and it looks like there is plenty of clearance with 25mm.

What tire and tube are you running? I just ordered a 2018 and the guys at the LBS werent sure what combo would fit. Also, are you running at full pressure?

The tire is the Spec all road I think. Not 100% sure but that sounds right, I ride them pretty tight I think 100 in the front 105 in the rear. I think max is 110 if I remember right. Been 5 months since being able to ride outside. Its a very close fit but forks are made to fit a 28 unless its a 28 that is actually measured bigger than a 28. I hope the new forks in the recall will hold a 28 still though.

Just remember there can be HUGE differences in the actual width and height between one manufacturer's 28 and another's.

My Panaracer Ribmo 28s are about the same as my Bontrager Hardcase 32s.

Spot on. I have a Michelin 32 that measured at 30.

I wonder if I can just ask the lbs tech to try and few on for me and double check. Do I just need to be under 28? Maybe this is the perfect excuse to buy those digital calipers...

Oh yea they should. If they are a good LBS and worth their weight in anything. My LBS would defiantly do this. You might want to call ahead and ask but they should HELP you that is what they are supposed to do. It might take some trial and error with different tires but they should be able to find you a tire to fill your need. I always support my LBS when I can and in return I get awesome CS and great conversation over coffee.
