Snow Capped Mountains Spectacular Views

The last weeks with all the rain and cold temps makes for some of the most spectacular views of our local mountains. Mt Baldy, San Jacinto, etc.

Even Saddleback (Modjeska Peak and Santiago Peak) has some snow.

While its still snow packed, it would be a treat if a helicopter equipped with video cameras, shoot those views at various times when the sun does those unique reflections.

Boy, that shot with the palm trees and snow-capped mountains really captures the essence of California living. Enjoy snowboarding and skiing all morning, lay on the beach in the afternoon, and still have time to catch an 8:00 pm donkey show in Tijuana.

It has been beautiful lately. I was out running at Bolsa Chica State Beach the other day and you could almost see the people in Palos Verdes waving to you.

Great pix! Where were you standing for the shot of down town? I keep thinking I need to head over to Hahn park, I think that's about the angle you'd get.

Bolsa Chica and HB are great rides for enjoying the ocean and mountain views. Always makes watching the road more of a challenge as well as the other beach scenery

I let the photographers take those great pictures so I can spend more time riding.

Yeah a rare treat when surfing HB/Bolsa when you can see the entire profile of Catalina then do a 180 and see the San Gabriel Mtns both clear as a bell. PV peninsula too.
On really clear days the early morning sunlight reflecting off the Long Beach Aquarium makes it visible from a long ways away.
