Do you guys give your bikes a nickname?

Haha, so I picked up a used 2008 Trek 1.2 and I kinda want to name it. But then I thought that would be kinda weird. And that made me wonder what you guys nickname your bikes.

'MY' bikes have names, but not all i own have names.
My 69 Armstrong is named Daisy.....get it? Daisy Armstrong..nevermind...agatha christie reference...
my 56 Robin Hood is obviously named Marian.
I have as yet not named the Trek...we have been calling it the beast.

Someone suggested 'Uhura' which i didn't get at the time
but i guess i could name it Nyota
still taking suggestions

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

My road bike has long been named Sidney. I forget why.

I had a 1963 Raleigh Superbe that I called "The Green Destiny"
It was stolen.

I replaced it with a ~1980 Velo Sport 3-speed conversion that I called "The Beige Destiny"
I painted it blue.

My other bikes do not have names. They do not have enough character. Yet.

Edit: I just remembered! The paint job I did on The Beige Destiny was Tremclad blue with orange and red flames, and it had the word 'RUSTY' written in large vinyl letters. And after that The Beige Destiny was also stolen!

We nickname everything in the house - including our pets and each other. Everyone knows that if you're addressed by your proper name, you're in trouble.

My bike is called the Elephant. Because it's gray and big. Bit slow too.... but that's because of the rider.

One of my friends insisted that my road bike needed a name, so to appease her I hastily christened it Henrietta. In hindsight I probably could have done better, but hey, I was under pressure.

I recently acquired a second bicycle, which I simply refer to as Redbike: because it's red, and it's a bike.

Some are named, others aren't.

My Redline R530 set up like a Dutch City Bike is named "The Duchess", 1972 Raleigh Superbe is "Queenie". Not so sure about the others.

I have two ladies with names currently.

The Defy3 is named Jasmine. Name explained here.

My Walmart Schwinn is named Peggy, after Peggy Bundy. Big, red, makes a lot of noise, but still a hell of a lot of fun to ride, you just don't want to brag too much about it, you know?
