1980’s Schwinn beach cruiser

Hello All,

I’m new to this forum and could really use some help. I’m trying to find a classic 80’s beach cruiser with no gears for my father in law. Any ideas on where to look?

Do you want a used 80’s Beach Cruiser ?
Or just the Classic beach cruiser single speed design .
If you’re wanting a classic beach cruiser design , I recommend an Electra , Cruiser 1 .
I love both of my Electra C1’s .
I have an old 1969 Schwinn Heavy Duty beach cruiser .
is this the style you’re looking for?
I’ll post a picture of my Electra C1 as it came if I can find a picture. I’ve changed a lot of things on them .

And this is how it looks today .
Next week it will have green anodized aluminum wheels .
you can see the frames are similar, cantilever styled frames .

Can’t help you there . Check Craigslist, Facebook marketplace . Most people hang onto the originals . Good luck with your search .

I see the originals on EBAY but will cost as much or more than a used one. This is my Huffy one made from a $50 frame and about $150 worth of parts and a few hours of time. Aluminum rims with a BMX front sealed bearing hub and a Bendix red band 2 speed rear hub. Brooks saddle and a bunch of parts I had laying around. Roger

Listing your area would help. You could always go to burning man and pickup one that gets left behind.

Bikes: A Blue One and 2 Green One's, then there's the Yellow one. And oh, yeah, a Black One. Did I mention the Red One?

You don't mention your location, but Craigslist in OC, CA has many listed for a reasonable outlay.
