idiot.
j/k.
Tires are not usually sold in pairs. Check probikekit.com and cambriabike.com for better prices than nashbar.

Based on the question you are probably asking about a clincher tire. Here is some other info about bike tires:

Try my only bike that I have had for a year now. Yes, I am just now getting around to replacing those Bonty pieces of ****. Let's just say that the only thing that has held them together for the past 1k miles is wishful thinking.

You might not be an idiot, but after one year of riding you're still not a roadie if you are on your first set of tires. Get off the computer and get on the road.

If you're on BF at all, you do have to at least consider the possibility that you are an idiot. Embrace your inner idiot. Works for me. After that, the idiocy here starts to make sense.
That's when you know you're in Big Trouble.

Although I will agree with your last statement. I definitely need to GTFO and ride more. But I can't. Until I get new tires. :deep, depressing sigh"

I'm not sure if you are serious or not but without stating the obvious, I bought a pair before.
Bought some Open Corsa Evo CX CSC Team Edition that actually came in a box with 2 matching tires that had a nice picture of Team CSC. Sadly, they didn't help me go any faster...
edit: Take the damn singles out and buy a tire. You can get some Fortezza SE clinchers for around $20. Also, used metro cards cut in half work better than singles IMO.
